We all have numerous thoughts flowing around, when in the process. Question possibly every man/woman has while looking for partner - Will I get perfect wife/husband? Or "the one I’m dating is perfect one or not?"
Truth is that there is no absolute perfect man or woman on this planet. Because we all make mistakes, may be not intentionally but we do! I might be an expert in one or two fields, but can never be an expert in everything. Then, what can be the best way to get rid of all-the-time moving questions about ‘perfect partner’?
The very first thing to do would be to take self inventory. Plus to accept that no one is perfect on this planet. There is nothing as "perfect partner" here. Just like you’re expecting perfect match, other person is also expecting you as a perfect one for him/her.
Now, are you really a perfect partner, ask yourself. You’ll surely have a reasonable answer to it.
Always remember that - Love, Friendship, Marriage, Affection whatsoever you call it, lies in Giving. In your relationship, try to be the Giver. And it will surely comeback to you in some way.
Next time you will think of having perfect partner, just try to be the Giver and learn to adjust and sacrifice. Now, when I say adjust and accept, I don’t mean to accept unacceptable. If there is unlawful or sinful act, there is different way to deal with it. That’s altogether different story.
However, if you see a good enough compatibility, understanding and respect in your would-be partner, you’re possibly good to go! There might be some habits you might still learn to ignore. But you should know what to ignore & what to not.
Having an open eye is also essential. Setting certain boundaries to safe guard your marriage is not to be neglected. Living in commitment is the answer for happy and worry-free marital life.
Last but not the least, never try to be someone else. Post getting married, your all-the-time concern should be –how you can make your marital life worthy. What best you can give to your partner. Taking care of the needs of your partner is not just the expression of love, but it’s also a way of healthy life.
And whenever you seek advice from third person, do not take the whole. Take the best, leave the rest!
